Set against the backdrop of Tampa's skyline and the tranquil waters of the river, Hari and Gabby's wedding was nothing short of magical. From the moment guests arrived at the Tampa River Center, they were swept away by the romance and beauty of the surroundings. The venue, with its modern architecture and panoramic views, provided the perfect setting for a celebration of love.
The Tampa River Center is located in Julian B Lane Riverfront Park. It's described as "a premier event space along the west bank of the Hillsborough River. It features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that open to a covered terrace offering a breathtaking view of downtown Tampa." (Visit Tampa Bay) It's a stunning and modern wedding venue in downtown Tampa. When I asked Gabby why she and Hari ultimately decided on this venue, she said "We were in between a couple of venues but found that the River Center was the best choice because it was beautifully designed, had a great central location for our out of town guests to be entertained, and the view of the skyline was amazing!"
When choosing a venue, having the option to get ready at the venue is really important. This is a huge plus in my opinion! You're able to save money by not having to rent a space to get ready and you don't have to worry about wrinkling your dress en route to the venue. The bridal suite at the Tampa River Center is beautiful and practical! Lots of bright lighting in the room with a couple mirrors, another large floor to ceiling mirror, counter space, and a restroom all in one room. Gabby and the bridesmaids were able to get ready in the suite. It's not a large space especially once you add toiletries and other bags in the room, but it wasn't an issue for Gabby. She opted for a bridesmaid first look so I asked the bridesmaids to wait in the lobby until she was ready. This moment with her mom was really special. You can see how proud Gabby's mom was while helping put on her dress and jewelry. This is one of my favorite wedding moments to capture!
The venue only had the one bridal suite so Hari arrived to the venue already dressed and ready for photos. The balcony of the River Center was an excellent area for photos! My 2nd photographer and I utilized this space often for portraits and bridal party photos.

The bridal party was one of the best groups I've worked with before! So much excitement and joy! Seriously the best!
Gabby and Hari are incredible dancers!! They met while salsa dancing so, of course, they're going to be outstanding at their wedding!
I asked Gabby and Hari about their favorite memory from the wedding day and they said, "When all of our guests stormed the dance floor when the dancing part of the reception began!" And they really did storm! I've never seen a dance floor like this! Definitely helped that their band played a variety of music throughout the night.

Hari and Gabby are such a gorgeous couple and such a blast to watch on their wedding day. Their day was absolutely perfect! Capturing their wedding day was such an honor and I'm forever grateful to have this opportunity!
